Bill has served as the Managing Director of Emerging Asset Management Ltd. since October 2015. Previously, he served as the Managing Director of the Apex Emerging Managers incubation service. He is a non-executive director of All Pay, a bill payments provider. In addition to this he has worked in the FX derivatives department for UBS, Dresdner and Commerzbank.

Chief Financial Officer

David has over 25 years of financial services experience. He joined Apex in October 2017, following the Group’s recapitalization by Genstar Capital, in order to lead the Group’s finance team throughout a period of transformational growth and expansion. Prior to joining Apex, David was CFO at Clarien Bank in Bermuda and before that Group Controller at Butterfield Bank.

Bruce Jackson, CFA, is the Chief of Digital Asset Funds and Business for Apex Group Ltd, serving as a Director of AFSL, AIFSL, ACSL, EAM and FAC.   Previously, Bruce  was Chief Wealth Management Officer for an offshore bank, responsible for Private Banking, Trust, Investment Management, brokerage, ILS, SPAC and ETF listing and syndication.   Bruce holds an HBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business Administration and is a CFA charter holder.   Mr. Jackson founded a Canadian investment management firm, and a Cayman Fund Corporation, to create discretionary private/public energy portfolios for Global Family Office, high net worth, mutual fund and institutional clients.

James is also Head of Compliance and Data Protection Officer – Americas for Apex Group Ltd., the parent company of EAM. James has previously served as a partner with a number of asset managers acting as Chief Investment Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer. Prior to entering the financial industry, he spent twenty years in various senior management roles with firms in the distribution and manufacturing sectors.

Stuart has over 28 years of experience within the financial services industry starting in Jersey (Channel Islands), Gibraltar and the United Kingdom. Stuart developed his career working for a well known Investment Management Company as Team Leader managing and administering a large mutual fund within a middle/back office environment and has provided licensed director services to a variety of fund structures in offshore centers. He has extensive knowledge of global markets and has studied the CISI Fund Management qualification.

Samuel joined EAM in 2016 after graduating as a Bachelor of Laws. In addition to this he holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science, and is currently studying the CISI Level 4 Certificate in Investment Management.
