Apex Group appoints Samir Pandiri to its Executive Committee

Apex Group Ltd. (“Apex Group” or “The Group”), a global financial services provider, today announces the appointment of Samir Pandiri to the newly created role of Group President and Member of the Executive Committee, to support and drive the business’ sustained growth.

Reporting to Founder & CEO, Peter Hughes, Pandiri will be responsible for overseeing key strategic functions to enable Apex Group’s next phase of development including Operations, Technology Product Innovation, Risk and Human Resources. Pandiri’s appointment reinforces how the Group’s evolution and continued momentum is attracting the industry’s most experienced and well-respected top talent, and he will play a key leadership role in its continued expansion.

Apex Group has consistently delivered unprecedented growth, announcing over 40 acquisitions since 2017, as it continues its mission to become the industry’s first-choice tech-enabled service partner. An established industry figure, Pandiri brings over three decades of international financial services and technology experience to the Group, including of leading institutional scale operations teams and implementing operating model transformations.

He joins Apex Group from fintech provider Broadridge, where he was most recently responsible for Post-Trade Technology, Global Proxy and Asset Management Data and Technology businesses outside of North America, with a special focus on Europe and Asia. He also serves on the board of the New Jersey State Investment Council.

Pandiri joined Broadridge in 2019 from BNY Mellon, where he was Global CEO of the Asset Servicing Division and a member of the senior leadership team. He also served as CEO of Asset Servicing in the Americas and CEO of BNY Mellon’s Alternative Investment Services (“AIS”) and AIS Prime Custody businesses. Prior to joining BNY Mellon, he held positions with JPMorgan Chase and Bankers Trust in New York and holds B.S and M.S. degrees in Chemical Engineering and M.B.A. in Finance, from Columbia University, New York.
