About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Application Developer to join the Support Centre within FundRock. The role will be based in Limerick on a permanent full-time basis.
Job Responsibilities
Main duties
- Work on the development, implementation, maintenance of our applications
- Develops unit tests to support production code using test driven development techniques
- Work with internal end users to understand and respond to their needs.
- Troubleshoot technical issues reported by end users and team members.
- Participates as a team member on medium/large projects.
- Identifies problems due to recurring incidents.
- Participate to performing functional and technical analysis
- Learn about the banking and finance industry
Profile
- Bachelor or technician degree Computer Sciences with maximum two years of experience
- Interest in the funds industry;
- Team player;
- Open communicator;
- Fluent in English
- French is an asset.
Skills
- SQL language : Must have
- PL SQL : Must have
- Python : Nice to have
- Shell : an asset
