Breakfast Seminar:
The evolving dynamic between hedge funds and investors amidst increasing conversations about the fund fee structure
Apex partners with AIMA and RSM to host a breakfast seminar and panel session exploring how the industry has evolved over the past year.
The session explores how the industry has evolved over the past year and addresses some the key trends influencing the increased pressure on managers for transparency, plus how to effectively manage this with investors.
Taking place on Monday 19th June 2017 in London, the session will address market developments since AIMA’s paper, In Concert – Exploring the alignment of interests between hedge fund managers and investors, produced in partnership with RSM – available to AIMA members here.
The seminar will look to further explore the key themes addressed in the paper and asses how perspectives might have changed of the past 9 months, discussing topics including:
- Downward pressure on fees
- The role of investment consultants
- Greater transparency of information
- Third party funding platforms
- Managed Accounts versus Fund Structure
