We are currently looking for a qualified Senior Compliance Officer (m/f/d) to support our Compliance/ Data Protection department. If you want to be part of our multidisciplinary team and are interested in this excellent opportunity, please apply for this role.

Role & Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer
  • Supporting the risk based preparation of the compliance monitoring plan with a focus on the MiFID investor protection and conduct of business rules as well as investment fund depositary services
  • Execution of compliance controls according to the compliance monitoring plan and conducting an efficient follow-up of controls to check the proper implementation of the agreed measures and recommendations
  • Establishing and following-up of the department’s processes and procedures
  • Acting as contact person for the management and department heads for requests and issues relating to MiFiD topics
  • Assessing and making recommendations regarding the impact of new legislation and rules specified by the CSSF and other European authorities on the business
  • Supporting the reporting of the Compliance function to the executive management, the Board and various committees
  • Performing compliance and regulatory training to staff
  • A strong academic background with a relevant qualification
  • At least 5 years of working experience as compliance officer in the banking industry under CSSF Luxembourg ruleset
  • In-depth knowledge of banking activities and regulations
  • Knowledge on investment funds framework preferred
  • A high sense of accuracy and the ability to structure, analyse and evaluate complex information and processes
  • Profound organisation and coordination skills
  • Ability to interact and negotiate with numerous stakeholders
  • Sound knowledge of MS Office
  • Fluent communication skills in English – both verbally and written – ; German and any other European language advantageous
