We are currently looking for a Senior Risk Manager – Financial Assets to support our growing operations in the Manco department.

As part of our growth strategy, we are looking for an experienced Risk Manager. The candidate will be part of the Risk Management Team and shall drive the strengthening, development and broadening of the fund risk management approach for a variety of fund structures.

Job Specification

  • Develop, implement and maintain risk models for investment fund structures investing in financial asset, incl. e.g. OTCs or structured products;
  • Analyze and implement target investments to ensure adequate coverage within the applicable risk framework;
  • Monitor, analyze and report according to defined internal standards and processes and in line with regulatory requirements;
  • Contribute to new projects (e.g. structuring/ on-boarding of new funds, implementation of new regulatory requirements, process improvements);
  • Interact and build strong relationships with various internal and external stakeholders (e.g. portfolio managers, auditors, authorities);
  • Represent the risk department in various occasions (e.g. client meetings, board meetings, projects, committees).
  • At least 4 years risk management related professional experience in the financial sector (e.g. asset manager, ManCo/ AIFM, Big4, bank);
  • University degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. finance, mathematics, economics). A quantitative background is considered a strong asset;
  • Good understanding of mathematical finance and financial instruments specifically including complex OTC products;
  • Knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements (e.g. UCITS, AIFMD, Circular 18/698, SFDR);
  • Professional qualifications (e.g. FRM, PRM, CFA) are considered an asset;
  • Curiosity and desire for new challenges as well as stress-resilience and flexibility;
  • Strong command of MS Excel and Word, ideally programming skills, e.g. in VBA;
  • Proficiency in English.
