The announcement of Sheahan’s appointment follows the unveiling of the Group’s unique connected real estate technology solution and further demonstrates its intent to become the leading provider of real estate asset servicing solutions.
Sheahan joins the Group from Vistra where he held the role of Global Sector Lead, Real Estate and acted as Country Managing Director, Luxembourg. Prior to this he held leadership roles with international real estate businesses on the investment and asset servicer sides including Managing Director – Real Estate Servicing at Citco, Finance Director- Real Estate, Cambridge Place Investment Management and European Financial Controller, Lasalle Investment Management.
Based out of London, Sheahan will report to Srikumar T.E., Global Head of Fund Solutions and lead the Group’s Real Estate (“RE”) service line, bringing extensive international industry experience having held a distinguishing range of management roles throughout his career. His in-house RE experience gives Apex a real advantage as the Group continues to strengthen its client-centric and unique globally connected technology solution.
Apex has been building strength and momentum in real estate asset servicing over the past few years and has become a market leader; now boasting over $300bn in in AuA across the private equity and real estate space alone. The Group dominates the REIT space in the Middle East and this latest appointment serves to accentuate its global intent, adding further weight and experience to its senior product and service leadership team.
