Apex Group Ltd ("Apex Group"), a global financial services provider with over $3.5 trillion in assets serviced, has launched the Southeast Asia Directors Club, a regional platform designed to support senior board directors across ASEAN markets.
The Southeast Asia Directors Club forms part of Apex Group’s global Directors Club network, developed over the past three years to strengthen engagement with directors of regulated firms, including investment managers, asset managers, family offices and institutional allocators.
The regional club will be chaired by Valerie Mantot‑Groene, Head of Asia at Apex Group, who will lead the initiative and act as a regional voice on governance, regulation and director responsibilities.
The Directors Club is an invitation‑only initiative. It is not a commercial or sales forum and provides a closed‑door environment for directors to exchange practical insights, engage with regulators, and discuss evolving board responsibilities in complex regulatory environments.
Members benefit from:
Closed‑door discussions among senior directors
Peer networking across markets and sectors
Engagement with regulators
Invitations to selected Apex Group client events
A platform to share views on governance and board leadership
“Board responsibilities are becoming more complex across the region,”
said Valerie Mantot‑Groene.
“The Southeast Asia Directors Club will provide a trusted space for directors to learn from each other, exchange perspectives and engage constructively with regulators on real‑world governance issues.”
Apex Group’s Directors Clubs are active in Luxembourg, Jersey and the UAE, with recent expansions now spanning Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
Membership is limited to senior professionals who are existing board members, appropriately qualified, or admitted by special invitation, ensuring the quality and integrity of discussion.
