Apex Makes Three New Senior Appointments

July 25, 2016: Bermuda: Apex Fund Services announces three new senior appointments joining the firm from KPMG, State Street and J.P. Morgan.

Nitin Khanapurkar, who joins the Apex Group from his role as a senior partner at KPMG, becomes Apex’s Global Head of Risk and Compliance Oversight as he relocates from the UAE to be based at Apex’s London office, bringing with him twenty-five years of global industry experience. In addition, Apex Luxembourg appoints Sonja-Maria Hilkhuijsen as Head of European Compliance and Data Protection and Gareth Williams as Managing Director for the office. Hilkhuijsen joins Apex from State Street Bank Luxembourg S.C.A. having held various senior Legal and Compliance roles within some of the largest global Custodians over the last fifteen years. Williams, joins from J.P. Morgan, where he has held a Senior Vice President role for seven years, also previously worked at State Street. Williams brings a strong management background alongside impressive industry expertise in both investment markets and the corporations operating within these frameworks.
