Apex Representatives Selected for ATMC Managing Committee

Following the election at the AGM held on Friday 28 July 2017, the newly elected ATMC Managing Committee has been reconstituted as follows:

  2. AXIS Fiduciary Ltd represented by Mr Assad Abdullatiff
  3. Deutsche International Trust Corporation (Mauritius) Limited represented by Mr Shahed Hoolash
  4. DTOS Ltd represented by Ms Madvi Jeebun
  5. Global Wealth Management Solutions Ltd represented by Mr Kamal Hawabhay
  6. Intercontinental Trust represented by Mrs Francoise Chan
  7. International Proximity represented by Mr Ashish Jagarnath
  8. Mauritius International Trust Company Limited represented by Mr Bob Bachun
  9. Rogers Capital represented by Mr Richard Li

The ATMC interacts closely with relevant government ministries and authorities like FSC, MRA, BOI, ROC & other stakeholders and contribute to develop, maintain, upgrade and promote the standing of Mauritius as a jurisdiction of international repute. The ATMC is also committed towards the development of new products and services to enhance the competiveness and attractiveness of Mauritius as an international financial services centre.

The Association of Trust and Management Companies (“ATMC”) was registered in 1997. It is the flagship representative body of the global business industry and currently represents not only its 65 direct members comprising of management companies, lawyers and auditors but also the 46 Corporate Trustee companies and managed trust operations directly associated with its management company members. Accordingly, ATMC represents the interests of over 100 operators in the Global Business industry.

The main objectives of the ATMC are to:

  • Support the development of the global business sector
  • Encourage closer cooperation between members of the Association
  • Provide a forum for discussions and exchange on matters of mutual interest encourage the maintenance of professional and ethical standards within the industry provide training and networking opportunities for its members both locally and internationally; and
  • Work in close collaboration with Government agencies, Tax Authorities and the Regulator on industry issues.
