Alan joined Sanne in November 2022 and has been the Regional Head for Middle East and Africa in Apex since the acquisition of Sanne. A Chartered Accountant by profession, he has spent the bulk of his career in the professional service industry and added financial service exposure to that, positioning him well to growing the region on strong client service principals.

Itumeleng has over 20 years of experience in the financial services sector. She is known for her strategic vision and leadership in expanding front and middle office support, compliance services, and innovative pension fund support. Itumeleng's appointment marked a significant step as it positioned Apex as the first fund administration services provider with a local head and team in Botswana, reflecting our commitment to growth and transformation across Africa. Prior to joining us, she held senior roles at various leading financial institutions in Botswana: Access Bank, BancABC, Standard Chartered Bank, and First National Bank. A passionate advocate for education and mentorship, Itumeleng actively empowers young women in finance. Her professional philosophy centers on integrity, innovation, and client-centricity, consistently creating value for clients through strategic partnerships and leading technology. Itumeleng holds an MA Finance and Investments from the University of Exeter, UK and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from West Virgina University, USA.

Andre joined us in 2023 as Regional Head of Sales for Middle East, Africa, and Mauritius through our acquisition of Maitland Group. He has 35 years’ experience in the financial services information technology and 3rd party administration industry. He began his career at Andersen Consulting and joined Syfrets in 1991 where he headed up the software development division before setting up FMS, the unit trust outsourcing division of Nedcor Investment Bank. In 2000, Andre joined Maitland and was responsible for the roll out of the FinSwitch business-to-business switch and its infrastructure services division. Later, in his role as Head of Business Development (Africa), he was responsible for domestic and international sales activities for their fund services division. Andre holds a B.Bus.Sci from the University of Cape Town.
