Apex Group Ltd (“Apex Group”), a global financial services provider with over $3.5 trillion in assets serviced, today announced the appointment of Loïc Choquet as CEO of Apex Fund Services S.A., subject to CSSF approval.
Loïc brings more than 20 years of experience across fund services, banking and operations. He joins Apex Group from Aztec Group, where he served as Head of Luxembourg and Chair of the Management Board, leading the jurisdiction’s largest fund services platform. In addition, he held the role of Head of Client Excellence, leading strategic initiatives across client onboarding, service delivery and regulatory reporting, with a strong focus on enhancing client outcomes and delivery quality. His background also includes senior leadership roles at J.P. Morgan and HSBC, where he developed deep expertise in client delivery, governance and operational excellence.
This appointment underscores Apex Group’s continued strategic investment in Luxembourg — its largest operational hub, and reinforces its ambition to further scale a fully integrated, client-centric delivery platform, leveraging its single-source model across the entire fund and corporate services value chain.
He will succeed Frank de Wit, who will take on the role of Global Head of Multinational Corporate. Frank’s strong expertise and track record in Corporate Services position him well to lead the continued expansion of Apex Group’s global corporate solutions offering. This transition also ensures leadership continuity and depth in Luxembourg.
Luxembourg remains central to Apex Group’s global operating model, particularly as private markets continue to expand and investment structures grow in complexity. The Group continues to invest in technology, talent and local capabilities — combining global scale with strong execution to deliver consistent, high-quality and scalable solutions to clients worldwide.
Renaud Oury, Regional Head of Apex Group Luxembourg, said:
“Apex Group continues to invest in Luxembourg as one of our most important global locations, attracting top talent across the Grand-Duchy. It is an honour to welcome Loïc into our team. This appointment of one of the industry’s most influential leaders strengthens an already experienced leadership team and supports the long-term development of our Luxembourg platform. We remain focused on delivering stability, strong client delivery and long-term value for clients. Luxembourg is central to how we scale our platform and deliver high-quality solutions worldwide.”
Loïc Choquet, incoming CEO of Apex Fund Services S.A., commented:
“I’m both proud and excited to join Apex Group at such a pivotal moment for both the industry and the Luxembourg platform, as private markets continue to grow in scale and complexity. The Group has built a strong and differentiated model, combining a global platform with deep local expertise.
One of my key priorities will be to further strengthen our client delivery capabilities — ensuring consistency, scalability and responsiveness — while building on the strong foundations already in place. I strongly believe that sustainable performance starts with people, and I will focus on further strengthening and building on an engaged and high-performing organisation, empowered to deliver the best outcomes for our clients.”
